Hold and develop land, mine out the resources, trade with other players for wealth and status. Feeling lucky? There's even a lottery system!
Feeling a touch... capitalist? Buy up all the lands you can and strip them of coal. Maybe feeling like a yuppie? Head out to the poor side of the map and buy up properties to gentrify!
There are two types of property for civilians: homestead and industrial. Industrial lands can be much larger, but they are much more expensive per block. Homesteads are capped at a smaller size, but are significantly cheaper per block.
Participate in the /market menu. Buy resources, sell what you've made, and enjoy the joys of specialization!
After the revolution, it was recognized that the means of production cannot solely lie in the hands of the rich. Public lands include areas to produce goods and even offshore tree farms to preserve the old growth forests.
